CleanWhale cleans homes across the Hamptons, covering Southampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor and Westhampton Beach. Most of what we do out here falls into one of two jobs, and they're genuinely different from a standard weekly house cleaning.
Most Hamptons houses are second homes, not full-time residences — occupied heavily from Memorial Day through Labor Day and much more lightly the rest of the year. An opening clean gets the house ready after it's sat closed over the winter: dust, cobwebs, checking for anything that needs attention before the season's first guests arrive. A closing clean does the reverse at the end of the season — a deep clean before the house sits unused again.
A lot of Hamptons homes are rented out by the week or the season, and the turnover between one set of guests and the next has to happen fast — often same-day, between a Saturday morning checkout and an afternoon check-in. That's a different job from a routine clean: strip and remake every bed, full bathroom reset, kitchen reset, restocking what the next guests expect to find, and a final walkthrough before the new arrival.
The LIRR's Montauk Branch runs out to the Hamptons, with extra seasonal service in the summer; most weekend and seasonal traffic out here still comes by car via the Long Island Expressway and Sunrise Highway/Route 27.
Tell us whether you need a one-time opening or closing, a recurring seasonal schedule, or turnover cleaning between rental guests — pricing depends on the home's size and which of those it is, and for turnover work, your guest schedule. Enter your address and the details and we'll quote it from there.
Can you turn a rental around same-day between guests? Yes — that's one of the most common jobs we do out here. Tell us your checkout and check-in times when you book.
Do you handle the house at the start and end of the season? Yes — opening and closing cleans are both available, as one-time bookings or scheduled for the same dates every year.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies? No — your cleaner brings professional supplies and equipment.
